EVERYDAY MIRACLES

EVERYDAY MIRACLES

Read Psalm 91:1-16

For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.

Psalm 91:11 (NKJV)

It was a rainy day, and I was driving to attend a women’s ministry service. My car started losing control, and as I entered the highway, I slid over to the left lane. My heart was racing as I tried to remain calm and regain control of the vehicle. I could not, but it snapped back in control, and I was driving just as I was before.

As far as I could see on the ramp,  no vehicles were behind or ahead of me. There was undoubtedly none beside me, or else it would have been a collision. I could not explain what happened to the vehicle, how it lost or regained control, and why I was no longer seeing the traffic there, but I knew it was nothing that I did. As I thanked God for His protection at that moment, Psalm 91:11 came to mind.

We cannot see the very snares that the enemy has laid in our paths daily to take our lives. God promises his hand of protection and the accompaniment of His angels while we’re still alive. “No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling place” (Verse 10).

I shared my testimony of God’s protection with the women at that meeting. Let us not be afraid to acknowledge when God’s hand of mercy grants us another day to be alive. “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31).

Prayer Focus: Drivers who commute daily.

Prayer: Holy Father, thank you for the angels you assigned each of us. Dismantle all obstacles, and may all the enemy plans come to naught. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thought for Today: Allow Jesus to take the wheel. He is the best driver.
